“I am fortunate to participate in the TFOS (Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society) conference in Venice Italy, with Dr. Anitha Arvind.
It was an event focused on ocular surface diseases, dry eye disease, and other topics related to the health of the tear film and the eye. TFOS conference brought together great leaders, ophthalmologists, optometrists, researchers, and other professionals across the world.
Dry eye is the next pandemic and has impacted every eye to various degrees. Diagnosing and management must begin at the primary eye care level. It is just not about prescribing a lubricating eye drop but much beyond that.”
